The International Symposium on Apricot Breeding and Culture 2011
of International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) is finished in Armenia
FAO SEU Regional Coordinator Avetik Nersisyan and coordinator of Apricot Nework Ara Hovhannisyan were participated in the XV International Symposium on Apricot Breeding and Culture of International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), held in Yerevan, Armenia in 2011 (June 20-24). FAO SEU Regional Coordinator Avetik Nersisyan presented the Apricot Nework and his activities to the 120 participants of Symposium. It was shown the on-line work and self presentation of site.
Coordinator of Apricot Nework Ara Hovhannisyan joins to The Scientific Committee of the XV International Symposium on Apricot Breeding and Culture and has actively participated in the organization of the International Symposium.
The symposium was an excellent opportunity to meet researchers, producers dealing with apricot, working in the field of apricot breeding, cultivation, apricot orchards management, fruits processing to discuss and share the research results, to debate on future targets.
They extend a warm welcome to all colleagues, scientists, researchers and producers worldwide to have links and collaboration in the network.

In the result of voting the next XVI International Symposium on Apricot Culture will be held in China in 2015 by International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
