PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- The event will take place in the premises of Szent Istvan University in Gödöllő and the FAO REU Office in Budapest (Benczur street).
- Participants are accommodated in the Lion's Garden, 4 star hotel with good location to the city center and not far from FAO REU by walk or public transport.
- Airport transfer service is provided for all participants arriving at Budapest Airport with flights reserved by the organizers, unless turning down in advance. Arriving participants shall look for our colleague (English speaking driver) showing a sign with the name and ‘FAO Workshop’ on the exit.
- Airport transfer for departure shall be discussed with the workshop secretariat and requested individually.
- Transportation is organized from hotel to the workshop location. Bus depart at 8.15am from the hotel main entrance.
- On Wednesday, workshop location can also be reached from the hotel by public transport, bus tickets will be given to participants.
- Accommodation and board (breakfast, lunch) is provided for all invited participants during the three days of the event. Dinner is offered during the excursion on Monday and the social event on Tuesday.
- Car parking is available in the hotel free of charge for workshop participants.
- Other ‘living’ expenses not mentioned above should be covered from own budget.
- Excursion will be organized on Monday (22 June) between 17.00 and 19.00 to the Babicz Vinery, where the GAK advisory information system will be presented, supplemented with wine tasting and rustic ‘Hungarian cold plate’.
- Social event will take place in the course of a boat trip on river Danube. The ‘ATTILA’ boat will depart at 20.00 from the Jaszai Mari tér dock on Tuesday (23 June) and return after sunset, by 22.00. Buffet dinner will be available during the journey.
- Participants are kindly requested to
- indicate their special menu preference no later than 12 June 2015.
- bring their own laptop, network access keys will be given on the spot.
