The Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation ( HAKI ) as coordinating institution of the Network of Aquaculture Centers in Central and Eastern Europe (NACEE) organized the Second Meeting of NACEE Directors in Astrakhan, Russian Federation, during 8-9 September 2005. The meeting was attended by 36 participants representing 27 institutions from 11 countries, and by representatives from the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), EUROFISH, the Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific (NACA) and FAO.
